I always enjoyed playing the very well done VPX table but I had no idea how lucky we are to have it. Per IPDB only 9 made it into production!

November 23, 2016 at 10:06 pm #41931I would guess financial issues. Didn’t they fold that same year?

November 23, 2016 at 11:40 pm #41932Yeah, I looked it up on IPDB… they closed their pinball operations while they were still prototypes. Capcom still makes video games to this day.

Weren’t there only two Pinball Circus machines made, with one being at the pinball museum in Las Vegas and the other with a private owner?

December 9, 2016 at 6:47 am #43277Data East’s King Kong got canceled/shelved due to licencing issues, apparently they could not get permission for using
Kong’s image and name for this pin. All 9 where also different, some had incomplete plastic’s, different flipper size and
some very incomplete rom’s. We’re lucky there’s a vpx version of this pin !
