I just received 3 led panels to build my matrix. 1 8X32 and 2 8X8 panels. My question is: Do I need to run data lines from my cat 6 cable to every panel or just to the first in line.

I do plan to run the strips at the side, eventually. Wish DOF were a little easier to use. I may hit you up for advice Outhere since I kind of ripped off your setup.  I have no other toys, so up to this point I haven’t really had the need for ini files, or XML files. So it is a bit daunting suddenly having to deal with those

There is a little bit of a learning curve for the DOF but once you get past that it will be a lot easier than you think..

Firstly can you direct me to a Dof guide, I have seen a couple but they are less than complete, I have seen mention of a complete guide but I can’t seem to find it, it may cut down on my easier less than intelligent questions

Clearly I haven’t the faculties to get this working.  It reads like a recipe for a new species.  I’ve tried creating XML files, tried creating global config files, nothing seems to want to work, can’t even register the DOF com object, it gives me a 100 error. I will have to wait until my grandson turns 5 so he can do it for me.  Does anybody want to walk an old person through DOF if I promise not to call you champ
