After seeing the wheel pop up on here, I decided to take a look at the table.  The vp9 table is in rough shape and there are very very scarce resources out there on this table.  So I grabbed what I could find, and put this very early work in progress.   I do all my work on my work pc, but sadly my pc is becoming too slow to do much more.  I will continue to mess with this as a fun hobby on my downtime. I figure it’s better to upload the resources here in case something happens to the original.

I read someone was working on this table a while ago, so I’m not sure how far along they are, or what their resources look like.  But if anyone wants to use mine, feel free.  Attached is a png and the psd file.

Not sure what you did here or how, but this looks a world apart from the resources I’d been seeing.  Bringing this table to vpx would be a very cool achievement.

Hopefully tomorrow I can start cutting out the plastics from this.  It will be very choppy but maybe someone who is way more talented can work with them.

I have built this table, but am unable to code it. I was hoping someone could help me with this. I would be more than happy to show you what I have done so far with it.

This was a table that I have always wanted to see built since I first heard about it. I have only made small progress towards its completion because I do not know how to code a table. Also, since this was a prototype table I am not sure about the rule set and there is no ROM. All the art was redrawn from photos.

Not a easy project for sure.

For those wondering.  Here is the version we have.   Its an old vp9 desktop table.  I’m not sure how accurate the rules are, along with the sounds, but it seems like it could be a fun game! I was looking at the layout and it was made using walls instead of light.  I’m guessing that was an old design technique?   Anyway, might help you guys start putting some rules together.

FYI I uploaded a new vp9 version over at forums. I didn’t upload here because this site is almost all vpx and I didn’t feel like clogging it up with a vp9 table. Anyway, you can get a better feel for the game if anyone is working on it or wants to help with the vpx version.

i just had a great talk with an old timer out in Los Angeles who has or had a ton of prototypes, and he built alot of them for different companies.  He has a topper for this that only 1 was made.  We are building this damn table.

With the outstanding scripting skills of gtxjoe, I have a table that is somewhat playable, but not good enough to release.  I think to finish the table we are going to need some video of the actual table being played.  I borrowed the sounds from an old Vp8 table done by ealadubhsidhe, but I have no idea whether they are accurate to the real table. This table is very rare, but a real gem and needs to get done. It actually has a Loch Ness Monster toy that appears from underneath the playfield!  I think that there were also rumblings awhile back that a Spooky pinball might actually build this table.  Anyway, I would love to get this table finished, but I think we definitely need someone with background knowledge of this table or some video of it actually being played to continue it to completion.

What is the vp9 running off of, script or rom

last time I checked, there was no rom support in vpinmame sadly :(
