Metallica Premium Monsters Table Tune-Up by members of VPin Workshop Discord. This was a long road for a table mod. Work started by EBisLit with brand new playfield 4 months ago. Playfield is now straighter than the one this had originally. This meant that the whole table had to be rebuild, so the table geometry is closer to the original table now. Added Flupper inserts, new flashers, Fleep sounds, latest nFozzy physics, some new textures, countless hours of tweaks and testing.

Oh wow. This is exciting, reading through the changes list. Very curious to see how this one stacks up against my ugly, but fun playing private mod. I’ve been impressed by all you guys mods before, so, maybe I have to retire mine now. Thank you very much guys !

is there a way to get the 180hc rom to work on this, for some reason this does not work for me and 170 rom stutters alot for me, i think i had recently updated either vpinmame or freezy cant remember but this game and acdc have rom issues now

Aaahaha there is always some flag incorrectly in our releases. So script option VRroom is set to 3. Default should be 0. This may add some more load for the PC when playing on desktop or cabinet. Will fix this for possible next release.

Wow, the insets and detail on the playfield look spectacular and the play is fantastic. Another great release – thank you. I do have one question: the colors on the playfield appear soft and muted on my cab. I checked settings and other tables and all look fine. Is this intentional? This may be closer to the original, I have not played a real version on the tables. Thanks!

Disregard my previous message – I watched the video and the playfield looks the same. I may play with the colors on my backglass and adjust to more closely resemble the playfield. Thanks again, I can see a lot of playtime on this over the weekend!

Oh wow this is something new. :o Did a check with FSecure and it didn’t find anything. Which antivir are you using? I’ll send this file to fsecure to check it through too. They have a service where to send files for further analysis.

Yes so some may like more saturated version of this table, but we felt it was a bit too much. Had few iterations of different LUT files and they are still in the project file. Original was ColorGradeLUT256x16_ModDeSat, then I made ColorGradeLUT256x16_new and then Tomate made ColorGradeLUT256x16_tmt and ColorGradeLUT256x16_tmt1. Feel free to dial in a version you prefer. We felt that ColorGradeLUT256x16_tmt1 was spot on what we wanted.
