AFAIK with Freezy’s dmddevice.dll it should work on a Virtual as well as a real one… it is working on my pinDMD3 and I’ve mirrored that on my screen in the past without any trouble. I noted in the thread I linked to that you need to patch the 1.64 LE ROM and rename it to be the 1.70 LE name because there is no entry in vpinmame right now for a 1.64 colour rom.

I always get  Solmod errors when opening this and other LE tables. Is there a tutorial to load these?

 

If anyone got the same problem with a SolModCallback error message like me:

1. Download the newest VP10.2 Version
2. Estract it into you VP Folder
3. Seach on your HDD for core.vbs
4. Delete all core.vbs except the one in the Visual Pinball/script

Hey Lucas, they aren’t talking about your problem with the solmod errors.  For that you just need a later version of VPinballX and VPM.

Then you are missing the latest scripts. Try using all the files from this: http://vpinball.com/VPBdownloads/vp-10-2-beta/

Make sure you overwrite your scripts and that they are only in the scripts folder and not in the tables folder as well.

Tonight I had a ball stuck on the left side of the table, see the red arrow.

Couldn’t do nothing but quit the table….

Any idea how it got up there?  Did it bounce off of something up there or fall off the ramp on the way down?  I’ve not had that happen before.

Are you using 1.64 or 1.7?  I have put in a few games without issue with 1.7.  last one was over 350mil.   I am using Freezy’s 1.5.2 dmdExt.

I believe what is happening is that your running with the official vpinballx.exe. The table crashes when the ball is in the upper right corner ? If so, either wait for the official fix or run djrobx’ test version. I run that ONLY for this table, since it gives me lag and other problems.

Just save it as something else than vpinballx.exe in VP folder, and run it instead just for metallica. Perm fix will be out on next rev of vpinballx.

hi guys, id love to try this table. i may have to disable the db2s backglass to get it working, but i cant figure out how to change the script for this table. usually i would change bss.server to VPinMAME.Controller, but i cant seem to find where to change it…anybody know how?//thanks/sparky

I was just ending a separate thread on this topic today.  Here is what worked for me to disable the b2s backglass.  This was from @xenonph:

Just add this line to script..
