having issues with the hammer after downloading new ac\dc table with the pinmame.dll thats needed to work with that table is there any way to get metallica to work with that update other people are having issues too on other site

No big deal, just switched back to my old .dll (backup) before the AC/DC update. But a fix would be great.

The update doesn’t fix the Metallica LE as reported on VPUniv., but a multiple fix is always welcomed. It’s nice to  know that people are hard at work trying to fix these issues.

No fix so far that I know of for Metallica LE. Do you need the old .dll so it works right? I can send it if you need the file.

ozg i got old and new file thanks though .thalamus i understand conditions of peoples lives was only wondering about it no harm meant just asking a question not trying to hurry anyone and dont know how much work they have to put into it im sure its not easy by any means

After switching to the color rom for this table the grand champion score doesn’t save. Not sure what’s happening here. All other scores save. Anyone else having this issue?

It doesn’t work for me. I tried 7zip and Winrar too.
I also get another error:

You either don’t have Le rom downloaded, not running 2.9 vpinmame from vpuniverse or your not renaming properly. When renaming I just rename zip not bin

I did always the same Way, first rename .bin then .zip (get automatic the same .zip Name of course), and it works.

Theres an Error with “Variable” you said, do you have the latest Script Files ? Then 2.9 as randr said ?

try this…. if you’re using a PC
after renaming the bin
right click on the bin, in the dropdown you will see “send to” hover over that, and click “compressed (zipped) folder” it will make a windows zip file, name it the same as the bin

I tried everything: renaming the .bin and renaming only the .zip, making the .zip with Winrar, with 7zip and Windows (send to..).
The version of VPinMAME I had was the 2.6. Now I tried with the 2.8. Same results/errors.

I have to correct myself, actually with the 2.8 version I don’t get anymore this error:
Variable is undefined: ‘SolModCallback’

but only the one regarding the rom:
