Just wanted to share the cab that I built this summer.
Final result:
I chose to go with a 27″ (Asus 165Hz IPS 2560×1440) playfield monitor since I really like how real VPX feels in 165 frames per seconds. Once you get used to it, there is no going back top 60, at least not for me. And large, affordable, high fps screens are yet to be seen so this is a compromise. I also made sure to use an IPS monitor since viewing angle is crucial. For the backbox monitor I use a 1920×1200 IPS display, mostly because I already had it than any other reason. I am still waiting for the PinDMD3 which seems impossible to get, it has been on back order for a few months now.
I did the artwork myself, of course heavily inspired by an existing pinball machine, do you know which one? It was a very generic look for that particular game but for a pincab it’s exactly what I was going for. :)
Some more pictures of the build can be found here: https://www.sweclockers.com/galleri/14910-digital-pinball (swedish test)
Without the artwork.
QA department working feverishly to test the cab.
Artwork installed.
Thanks for watching, let me know what you think! So many amazing builds here and such great community, thank you all contributers and game creators, you are my inspiration!

August 31, 2019 at 6:03 am #143747Amazing! Love it and it looks much nicer than my 32″ mini-cab. I also like your quality control department. If that table can stand up to their punishment, it will last forever! I never thought to utilize my two daughters in that manner.
