Good. But, I have a feeling that Carny might be on point if what I suggested doesn’t lead anywhere. It is generally not a good idea to use filenames with letters outside the English alphabet and numbers.

June 25, 2020 at 2:47 pm #188239With PinballX it is possible to display German characters in a USA local environment by use of Unicode character codes in the xml database.
Ex.
<description>Motörhead</description>
It doesn’t look like I had to change the file name for PinballX to match with the same name in the gamename tag. I still have the umlaut in the file name.
I don’t currently have any front-end installed so I don’t know if the same rules apply with Popper.

June 25, 2020 at 8:35 pm #188335CarnyPriest yes Pin Up Popper did not like the German umlaut and therefor it would not start it. Once I changed it to an American o it worked fine through the front end.
