Good. But, I have a feeling that Carny might be on point if what I suggested doesn’t lead anywhere. It is generally not a good idea to use filenames with letters outside the English alphabet and numbers.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your input. I’ll try the name change and then if that doesn’t work I’ll try Thalamus’s suggestion.

With PinballX it is possible to display German characters in a USA local environment by use of Unicode character codes in the xml database.

          Ex.

It doesn’t look like I had to change the file name for PinballX to match with the same name in the gamename tag. I still have the umlaut in the file name.

I don’t currently have any front-end installed so I don’t know if the same rules apply with Popper.

OMG! You guys rock! What an easy fix… Changed the umlaut to an “o” and it works. LOL the easiest fix yet.

            Thank you!

CarnyPriest yes Pin Up Popper did not like the German umlaut and therefor it would not start it. Once I changed it to an American o it worked fine through the front end.

              Regards

Am I alone to not be able to see the dmd in cabinet mode?

Other tables are working but not this one…

@benben45 : Maybe you need to look for ShowDMDOnly and change its value in the script ?

Benben45, go to line 223 in the script, and change “hidden = 1” to “hidden = 0”
