I am not getting any scores on the DMD. I am getting videos and the scoreboard.  But no actual text.  Version 102 was fine with scores and stuff on DMD.  Not so much 103.  Unless its just me.  And yes, I am using 3 screed Full DMD.

General information

If you’re trying to use ultradmd you have to make a folder in the tables folder  –>  mmunsters.UltraDMD

Comment out This section – Approximate line is  6745

Why is the DMD display being displayed in the Pup Game/Info screen?  maybe so you can use ultraDMD also?

for people with PUP display/position questions:  you should not modify anything in table script for PUP position. Make sure you are download the latest puppack (media files) .

This table default pup layout is for 3 screen users that have a FULLDMD (16:9) type lcd display…. should work out-of-box.

if you do NOT have the above layout(you have a realdmd or 4:1 lcd dmd),  you need to grab the 3 pup files in the 2screen.zip file within root of updated puppack.  and replace the 3 files in the root of the pupack.    that’s all.

*if you do have a FULLDMD lcd and the dmd is not filling up your screen then you need to setup configdisplays.bat (pup settings) so that your music pupdisplay is taking up the entire FULLDMD area. (most packs will use your music screen location for FULLDMD option).

well, I have 3 screens…. and it does not work out-of-box. downloaded actual table and puppack (1.03a).its the only puppack on my machine that does not work.

Backglass background is there, topper is there, playfield is there with the backglass overlay (in correct size), which should be somewhere on top of the backglass. DMD area is empty. i can move the overlay-image by mouse, but not the writing (points and so on). I remember having the same issue with “stranger things” but cant remember how i solved it :-(.

Ill better wait for the next version, I am not in a hurry

Same here. Everything is there, but the writing, points.  Even the movie screen when you lose the ball is blank. It wasn’t on version 1.02. It told you all the bonuses you got. Now nothing.

When I tried this updated PuPpack the new 103a table was not released yet.  So I was using it with the 102 release.  Since updating to the 103a table.  All is good.  So the confusion was the table I was using and not the Pup Pack.  Sorry for the mix up.

I don’t know how others are getting to work out of the box..I extracted the zips for and tested for 2 screen and 3 screen setup but dmd displaying on backglass still. I had to modify script line 868. I downloaded latest table and puppack. I don’t use a topper so you have option at beginning of script to turn off.

Const pDMD=2 (default is set to 1)
Const pBackglass=1 (default is set to 2)

This is what worked for me.

Hi guys, kinda new to the pup system. But nothing is showing up when I run the table. Copied the pack to pupvideos. Other pup packs are working… Any ideas ?

Thanks nailbuster, do you means that 3 screen 4:1 users (like me) will have to use the table without a DMD in 2 screen mode using the files from this https://vpinball.com/VPBdownloads/munsters-2-screens-alternate-pup-vid%c3%a9o-bg-stern-style/

or will it still be on three screens, not at my cab for another 10-12 hours, so just checking prior to updating. I have everything working with 1.03 but my 4:1 LCD screen has very small fonts, so hence the reason I’m checking out the post. Thanks, BV3.

EDIT – I gave this a try and it did just move my DMD to the backglass. It didnt increase the font so it was small on both 2 or 3 screen. I’ve reverted back to 3 screen setup with the DMD on the 3rd screen by just removing the custom position of the DMD in PUPpack editor (obviously removing the now 2 screen version puppack and restoring the 3 screen version). The same issue remains is that the font is small, but the preference for me is to have something on the 3rd screen, if the font size can be manipulated in the source for 4:1 users that would be awesome, but understand if that is a big ask. Thanks Daryl for the table and Nailbuster for the initial reply.
