Just reached out to Argrim about putting in some DOF code..Pretty much ready to go for a good WIP release. I have a list of bugs to address but nothing too bad..

8500 including about 1500 from the templated code.

April 24, 2020 at 2:59 pm #175109What the hell, it’s only the Pro! just kidding, nice work. Any chance of it having a black and white option? I might have considered buying one if they had a b/w pro model, grew up on the Munsters.

April 24, 2020 at 3:07 pm #175110That video preview looks much better than I had expected from just scripting and pup-pack. After seeing what Scotty’ was able to do with HP, I guess we should not just grin our noses to re-creations that is scripted. It will of course not be the same by a long shot. Intricate rules will be very hard to code without bugs. There is a reason why some guys do this for a living. I’m sure though that I will enjoy this “original”

100811 3 Angelswip_Beta_0_96a.vbs
– just to explain – unix command – word count and paramter ‘line’ – answer is 100.811.
I believe it can be optimized just a tad though

April 27, 2020 at 4:59 pm #176024Can this be played without pup player? I only have a mini cab with 2 screens. The pup player / pack tables are really awesome, but i’m missing out on lots of tables because they are only compatible with pup player (like Harry Potter).

Hi
Do you have the possibility to share your configuration for the Pup-Pack with 2 screens?
I do not see the scrores, there is the Backglass which is on top (I have a BG 1280×1024)Thank you

April 28, 2020 at 4:21 am #176090My backglass is not the same resolution as yours (1920X1080 here) but your first post seemed to imply that PUP packs don’t work period. Do you have any pup packs that work?

April 28, 2020 at 4:48 am #176093I had never posted on the forum before, I just quoted your answer to TVGuy.
My Pup-Pack works well on HP, POTC, Cluedo … because I was able to configure the screens.pup file but there is none with this table.

April 28, 2020 at 7:42 am #176118I can’t answer your question right now (work) but on the VP Nation, VP Junkies facebook groups there are lots of people commenting on these issues with offers to help.
However, the most important comment is from a user who’s sent a fix to the author that should not require customization for the PUP to work. Hopefully an updated release is forthcoming soon.
This may help you (from pinball addict facebook member):
“An easy way to get the coordinates for those struggling is just use the ones in the PinUpPlayerConfigDisplays.bat in your pinup folder for dmd and backglass and just edit script but remember for dmd use your backglass numbers and for backglass use your dmd numbers”
