OK, false alarm. I managed to get it working correctly, so now I can get all four players to enter scores, and it’ll award once for beating the top score. All I need to do now is figure out what happened to basically give everyone an immediate 1000 points when starting their ball; part of it appears to be when I redid the bonus scoring routine, tearing out the “solid state bonus ladder” in favor of the DMD bonus scoring method that the framework is now calling for. Probably when I have more time and no bed calling me.
