Hi Guys,
I thought it was about time i stopped leeching and started contributing.
For my first table i thought of JJP Hobbit, nothing like a simple job.
I will need tonnes of help and i wondered if there was someone out there willing with the time and patience to tutor me through.
I have never created a table in VP [but i can manipulated existing tables very basically] and would need to go from Blank to Hobbit. Also i dont know Scripting but i am a fast learner
I am OK using photoshop and flash and have created a bunch of images already from various resources, hope they would be OK. Attached.
I have also never played this machine having been stuck in Manila, philippines for the last 2.5 years.
I could also use this as a opportunity to create a tutorial as there are not many around for someone like me.
Anyway, use these resources however you want, if your not interested.
Thanks,
Webster.

May 2, 2019 at 4:58 am #126852I get what you are asking and appreciate it. I would however really consider approaching this another way. What you are asking is a very big job. At least if you consider this to play anything near the real deal. The rom can’t be emulated so you have to write all the rules for it. It is no a project for anyone as a first, the amount of help you will need is huge, and a good table author would most probably shy away from this project of these reasons alone.
What I do suggest. Is to look at what Tom is doing. He doesn’t go for the most elaborate tables yet. Any table, requires work. And we do understand that you will most probably need some help on the way. But, you have to remember, this is all done on voluntary basis so you can’t really expect that anyone will dedicate themselves to your project.

May 2, 2019 at 7:30 am #126858Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I knew it would be a massive project but i’m really asking for someone who is passionate and wants to create this table and use me in any way and maybe explain what they are doing along the way.
I’ll keep playing anyway.
Thanks again.
Webster

If you really want to build this table find; someone that owns this table and is willing to remove the objects from the table
to take pictures or scan them.
The majority of us have 4k monitors on or cabs and the resources you currently have are nowhere near the quality they need to be
to make a good looking table.
2nd many of the objects on this table need to be 3D models, such as the dragon
(assuming you don’t know how to sculpt objects in a 3D modeling program)
you would need about 25-50 pictures of the same dragon from different angles so that you can use
a 3D modeling program to build the model for you.

May 2, 2019 at 7:21 pm #126918Hi,
Manila has no Pinball machines anywhere so i can no longer get access to machines and resources.
However, i like the idea of helping with your unfinished projects. Saying that i quickly made these pop bumper caps for Superbowl. Hope its Ok, dont hold back the criticism.
Thanks,
Webster

December 15, 2019 at 11:17 pm #154639I haven’t started.
I helped with graphics on a few other tables. I thought i’d done enough to do back to leeching again.
If you want to start I will help.
Thanks,
Webster

December 17, 2019 at 11:11 am #154735Yeah I hate to say it, but this would be an ambitious project even for a full team of veteran table contributors. If you realistically want to start building tables and see them reach a decent finished state you’re going to want to start with something easier. I would try to take this in stride however, with each table you build you will learn from your mistakes along the way and figure out ways to improve your next builds. I can almost guarantee if you end up building a series of tables, you will look back on your earlier ones and think “I should have done this that way” etc, it’s the sort of thing that leads to table builders re-building their tables time and time again.
