Again, not sure if I am to the right place but I start to build my tables list and have some basic question :)
I try to download some tables here in download section and I realize there is no ROMS section. Probably for copyright reason. Which I can understand. But then, I go to another site, and when I try to download rom, I just realize there is multiples roms version for each tabless. By example, Star Trek. When I check the script, it show st_161. How do you do guys to find the right versions that have a specific rom name ?
Note : Star trek have more then 30 vroms versions :(

Vpb could add a roms section but takes time and honestly was hoping someone else would do it :) that said….you should always download latest rom version as most tables use newest version of rom if not you can easily change script of table to whatever rom you want like free play only, home rom, swear rom ect. Really the nice thing about vpinmame and vpinball is you can change the stuff :) hope I helped?

If we change or use not the right version, should we have bug or wierd behavior at long time ?
Also, shawn the name provided is the actual rom inside zip, right ? When I search for roms I need to provide Pinball name, sometime there is so many version, like star trek …
Last thing randr, why not provide aroms section with a link to a drive where there is all roms at certain date, then the section will be populated only with newest…? Because for me, when I go to another site to finish something, there is chance I will stay to the other site.

I just try to download star trek vp10 version roms in another site, I change rom inside script with sttng_s7, and it s exactly what I was thinking, I have a strange message on the end screen. Probably the rom not compatible !!! It s really a pain ?

Here is a big rom set that Destruk posted a few years back – I just copied it to google drive, so you don’t have to deal with spam
ROMS: http://goo.gl/kirh4SGoogle drive doesn’t make it obvious how to download the rar file, just click on the DOWN arrow in the center of the top row. The STERN SAM roms are not included though.

Question but… Is it possible for the same zip filename, it have different version inside ? If yes, I will have to keep the must recent. But I don’t think so !
