This is a quick mod of Lortium/The Mask that I slapped together. I noticed a lack of Nicolas Cage in the pinball world so here he is. Obviously all I did was replace some graphics and sound effects… so the credit goes to whoever made the original files. There is some foul language in this!

 kinda reminded me of the first film I remember seeing him in way back when, Valley Girl in 1983, although I think he was much hairier.

LOL I hadnt considered the LACK of nic cage pinball! There was a time, not at the moment, I would see him around town….hes kind of like a 16 year old and his parents left him in charge as long as he doesnt have a party…..at least this has been my observation…..

Is there a trick to getting the rom (Lortium) to work with this table. I keep getting an error message Line:224 Machine ‘Lortium’ (Lortium) terminated before intialized, check the rom path or rom file!

You mean in addition to the 3 hours research I’ve already done? I like to try to figure things out for myself….especially since I’m new to all this. I’ve tried editing the script, renaming the table and rom names, so there comes a time when people ask for help and hope that somebody remembers when they were just starting and had a million questions.

I d-loaded and it plays fine here. Actually a pretty creative table reskin. Are you using the rom from vpf? –https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=481
Maybe delete the one you’re using and try that one.

That’s too strange JR. That’s where I got the rom file. It’s the only one they have. I deleted and downloaded everything again. Same problem. So I’m thinking something in my system has gone wonky so I downloaded a new table where I had to go to vpf to get the rom and the backglass and it all worked. The backglass comes up, then the error message and then shuts down when I click on OK. Thanks for trying.
