Well, I was supposed to clean score reels on my EM tonight. But I’m going to take this release as a sign that I should postpone that fun project…again. Will want to load this up as soon as I get home and as you all know, once the vp cab is fired up, forget getting anything else done.

download and doesn’t work. asking for rom and it’s in the right spot and was from the file downloaded.

The rom wasn’t in the download. That was an nvram script to enable tilt/nudge. The rom you need is prtyanim and is on vpforums site.
Just getting this loaded up now and tweaking. Fun table!

The Zip file included in the download is a .nv file. I had the same problem with the VP9 rom(VP forums), it did not work. I tried the German rom and it loaded the table but I could not start the game. I googled Party Animal rom and was able to find the correct one.

Does anyone know how to get in the service menu ???
I want to change coin chute, but can’t get to advanced settings.
I only get a screen when it Shows scrolling : “Press A to advanced”, “press B to …”, but cannot get to the settingsEDIT: According to the service manual, a keyboard is attached to the real table. Is this keyboard also emulated in VPX ?

That did the trick. First time I seen this. Maybe didn’t change lot of bally table lately.

Trust me, I sat for hours trying to figure that out, then I remembered the sound adj and ball adj tutorials on VPF. That’s how I was able to figure out the lights for this and Hardbody

I know that feeling
I started last year to change all coin chute for left 1 credit ( 50 cent) and right 2 credits (1 euro). I thought I knew most of the tables/vendors now, but didn’t seen this one yet. Maybe I skipped these in the past.
But my own manual is added with the comment from your table info
And good job on the table itself. The photo realistic tables that are released lately are really cool. Also the physics are close to real play. Great work guys

Looks great! I can’t get it to play… keep getting rom path error. The rom was supplied right? It goes in the usual folder?

The included file is not the rom, it’s the nvram. It’s included becuase some were having trouble getting tilt/nudge to work. The rom can be downloaded form vpforum or vpuniverse

I guess it can be confusing for those just beginning, and honestly I have been guilty of not going through the support topic and reading. Everyone, (1) supplied NVRAM goes in the NVRAM folder in Vpinmame, (2) Go get the Rom for Party Animal and place it in the Rom folder in Vpinmame. (3) Play the crap out of the table.
