I have noticed that PBX Recorder is not working for me. The videos are being created, put in the proper folder, named properly but aren’t showing in pinbalx just black screen.
Also, whats with the new pinballx website and updates. I see there are a few new updates as of last month but it doesn’t say what the changes are and you cant post anything in the pinballx forums.

I just downloaded pbx today. I was goin to update my videos. But i am running into the same. In my media folder it shows that it records but once i go into the table manager and select the video and add to the table it doesn’t actually show up while in pbx just the black screen.

Replace PBX by PBY is my suggestion.

I started to use it when it first came out. I am used to X but I guess I should give it a try, obviously worth the change?

Now I remember why I got rid of pinbally… here is a side by side comparison of BG images. the same BG image, one in pinbally and one in pinballx. is there a adjustment that I am missing?

i took a screenshot of that backglass image in pinballx and in pinballY. its the same image but looks different when its used by both programs. When i use pinballY, all of my table and backglass images and videos appear a lot darker.

Hmm. So, you are basically comparing what pinball recorder has made vs pinballY ? How does that actual screenshots inside the media folders compare ? Same as above I expect ?

That backglass image was either from a media pack or I made it a while ago. The image is in my pinballx media, backglass image folder. The issue is when pinballx displays it the image looks normal. When pinbally displays it, and all my other media it darkens it and the look like crap. Same image file just being used by two programs look different. I did download the 64 bit version of Y if that matters

Simply rerecord the images with auto/batch mode then they will look just fine.

well i wouldn’t think so but in PBY you just choose batch capture and walk away its really not a big deal. i know when i used my pbx media in pby it had some shader effect to all images but i just ran the batch and created new ones and they look fine…PLUS they are now current up to date recordings
