After someone pointed this out in an the facebook Group in a thread i want to share some of my results:

I said it now often i´m a lucky bastard cause VPIN-shop is near my home. After he knew me a bit and saw im a lil bit a Software and PC Guy he did let make some tests with different hardware and so on. Here are some of the resulsts

      Test Table – AC/DC 1.4 TT&NZ<span class=”text_exposed_show”>
      Test Rom acd_16hc
      Windows10
      Nvidia settings standard
      2 screen 1 4k PF 1 FHD BG
      VPX 10.3.1 final
Windows was all up to date</span>

      Now Test results

      Ryzen 3 1200 +1050ti 60fps avg
      Ryzen 3 1200 OC 4GHZ +1050ti 64fps avg
      Ryzen 5 1600 1050ti 65 fps avg
      Ryzen 5 1600 OC 4GHZ 68 fps avg
      Ryzen 7 1700 1050ti 66 fps avg
      Ryzen 7 1700 OC 4ghz 69 fps avg

      Intel i7 7700k stock 1050ti 70fps avg
      intel i7 7700k OC 4.9GHZ 1050ti 74fps avg

      I9 7900x stock 1050ti 70fps avg

ALL in 4k test here with BG on
All runned without any Lags and totally brilliant. BUT remember these were tests without Pinball x To increase the FPS i only were able to do it by changing out the GPU to a 1070 or 1080
      Results:

      Ryzen 3 1200 +1070 125fps avg
      Ryzen 3 1200 OC 4GHZ +1070 128fps avg
      Ryzen 5 1600 1070 125 fps avg
      Ryzen 5 1600 OC 4GHZ 1288 fps avg
      Ryzen 7 1700 1070 126 fps avg
Ryzen 7 1700 OC ghz 129 fps avg

      Intel i7 7700k stock 1070 130fps avg
      intel i7 7700k OC 4.9GHZ 1070 134fps avg

      I9 7900x stock 1079 130fps avg

If i wanted to increase those numbers i could do that only with a 1080 or 2×1080(No sli the old way 1 for bg 1 for pf but got other problems cause of that) but thats not mentioned here right now
So my conclusion out of that is: That the intel systems i tested were much more expensive than the AMD Ryzen ones and didnt bring really more power. And thats why i recommend the Ryzen Systems in the FAQ. from Visual Pinball Junkies
(yes i know i changed them to lower ryzen since some here always said mimimi why so expensive BUT the real reason i changed the to lower was ROB cause he pointed that out with good arguments)

Next conclusion if you see even overclocking the CPU doesnt give you really more FPS in Visual Pinball or really more power. The CPU only makes real difference when it comes to the use of a Front End in combnination with Videos and Toppers and directb2s and so on. (fun fact i even were able to get down a i9 with 1080ti to under 60 fps in 4k after doing all videos i could in frontend <span class=”_47e3 _5mfr” title=”„tongue“-Emoticon”><span class=”_7oe”>:P</span></span>)

I check if i find the Pictures but i think i deleted them after i wrote my FAQ. BIG Thanks goes out to VPIN-shop for being my fiance and paid all those things <span class=”_47e3 _5mfr” title=”„tongue“-Emoticon”><span class=”_7oe”>:P</span></span> and letting me test in your basement:

<span class=” UFICommentActorAndBody”><span class=”UFICommentBody”>info plus: no frontend was used no Mutliball was gathered since im a bad player. So conclusion the 1050ti is def to weak for 4k gaming and VPX unless you tweak it like hell</span></span>

Thank you. This is very helpful since I’m mapping out a system right now.
