Great update to a great game. Love the new graphics with the table and the 3 scr b2s. Im also enjoying the animations of the snake and skeleton claw. Great work.

December 10, 2019 at 2:04 pm #154022Table looks awesome! However; myself STAT and htamas have ran into some problems on this table. I don’t know why, i have (massive) Stutters at e.g. Plunger Lane, when i shoot out the Ball, also in some Areas in the Middle. We all have the same problem, and can’t figure it out. We have done the usual checks (backglass exe. performance checks ect).
I was wondering if anyone is running into this and have a fix? This is the only table giving me trouble atm. Thanks for any help!

Are you running B2S? If so, make sure it’s running in EXE mode.

It was very nice of HiRez00 to let you take over his idea!!
He made his backglass first, as many of you probably already saw his great “flames flickering” backglass he released many months ago, and we just stalled on the table graphics to match backglass, as we both had real life issues to deal with.
So a huge thanks to HiRez00 for letting you take over his idea, and huge thanks to you for making a kick ass table!!
You did a great job!!
I also have the stuttering problems as mentioned above.

December 11, 2019 at 12:31 pm #154139I did some testing on my desktop. I see the stutter there that you’re talking about. I did a quick review of the table and I found several performance drains:
- There are a couple of timers with an interval of ‘0’. Not sure how VP handles this, but setting them to 10 is plenty fast and reduces the script load.
- The arrangement of physics objects around the captured ball is adding a small amount of unnecessary load on the table. A little clean up there would help.
- The biggest offender appears to be all the primitives either not set as “Toy” and/or set to collidable. For example, the screws and light bulbs.
I have an updated table that works good here. I’ll send to those with issues for testing through PM. Please report your finding back to this thread.

December 11, 2019 at 2:14 pm #154146Rothbauerw’s adjustments fixed the stutter/flipper lag on the wimpy laptop that I use to d-load tables. Will now be loading this on cab tonight. Table looks fantastic! As a guy that was out and about a LOT when Black Knight first showed up – and blew us all away – I was excited to see this game which I’d never seen before. Looking forward to seeing this full-size.

December 11, 2019 at 4:29 pm #154174Thanks to Rothbauerw as this fixed my stutter too. Another great table by Watacaractr! This table reminds me of another great table that hasn’t made its way into VPX from FP. Tutenkham by Polygame is another cool mummy themed table.

December 11, 2019 at 5:56 pm #154179Just got it loaded on my wimpy-cab – – works, plays and LOOKS great!!   i5/GT710. Thanks again @watacaractr ! Really a beautiful table. And thanks again to @rothbauerw for waving a magic wand or whatever magic you do and finding a way for it work on a set-up like mine.  ….want to take a look at CFTBL? If I could get that running on my rig I might never upgrade!
This will be getting some game-play tonight – – after I unfold my new billion branch Christmas Tree. Ugh.

I’m really impressed with the attention to detail, it’s a complete package both for the audio and video.  Even though it’s the same game it feels very different, weird (in a good way).

You know how I do…cleaned up the PF’s a bit and 4k’d them with more DPI. Felt a bit washed out on my 4k table. Enjoy!
(Tried to add as images…doesn’t like 4k…tried to add 2 files…’add another file is busted?’ So you got GDrive links. Sorry!)
