Pin Up Controller Settings for FX3

I have the Esc key setup to exit games and emulators and the D key set to exit pin up popper and return to the desktop.  When I used pinball X and was playing a FX3 table I hit escape to exit the game and return to the pinball X system.  Now when I hit escape on the pin up popper front end it exits my game and returns me to the desktop.  The game wheel is still there, but I am no longer in the pin up system.   I was wondering how everyone else has set up their controllers.  Thank  you.

Thank you for sharing your settings my escape game and escape emulator is set the same as yours.  I still get sent to the desktop when I hit the escape key.  Not sure what I am missing thank you.

Fixed!!!!

In FX3 I went to settings, then to video, I switched from full screen to windowed borderless.  I had to re position my backglass slightly because it was off center.  Now everything works perfectly.
