Pinup Popper update 1.4 to 1.4.1

Hi Guys

Question on the new update.
Do I need to uninstall and reinstall or how do I update to 1.4.1?
I read the WIKI and it just says for new install only…

Just unzip and copy over the already existing files. As I remember it‘s just 6 or 7 files.

Hi guys

Just a warning when updating to 1.4.1

there are two folders one for popper and one for frontend.

i thought both hade updates and of course i reset everything to new install and i had to set everything up again.

summary,  just use the popper update if you are happy with your frontend!

what are you talking about????

For others,  everything is written in the PinUP wiki to either upgrade OR install fresh installs (v1.4.1 files)… i don’t think it could be any clearer.

and for future upgrades….you wouldn’t need to reset everything up had you used ‘backup db’ (can’t say that enough times) and backup the root files in your pinup folder before any updates.

Hey NailBuster i’m wanting to update but i’m on version 1.3.5 , can i still upgrade or do i need to go fresh install, in the instructions it says 1.3.6 or newer, so i’m curious there, i don’t really wanna go through all the settings again if i don’t have to
