Hi,
When I run Pinup from the start up folder it says that I’m missing a wheel bar, but when I start it manually from the folder it works perfectly. Any help would be appreciated.

October 4, 2018 at 3:12 pm #100345you probably copied the exe instead of creating a shortcut to exe….
I would follow this guide for startup: http://www.nailbuster.com/wikipinup/doku.php?id=other_setup

Did you go through the install guide on the wiki as mentioned, and follow ALL of the steps mentioned?
….and went through made sure both your windows settings (DPI / text scaling, no negative value for screens positioned)…pinupmenu.exe as Admin (and nothing else in pinup system folder as admin)…no anti-virus running…
99% of the problems people have are because they didn’t follow every step in the install guide…and missed something on their system.
Follow this for the initial install and setup of Pinup Player…
http://www.nailbuster.com/wikipinup/doku.php?id=install_guide
…then use this video for setting up Popper….only difference is you use dmdext 1.71 32 bit (x86) files now instead of what the video may refer to.
If you were mucking around with settings not knowing what your were doing then I recommend doing a fresh install of Pinup System…and follow those guides in order.

December 2, 2018 at 6:26 pm #105554Thanks Terry. I’ll start a fresh install, but this only happens when I use it as the start up and not when I click the file manually. When I click it manually it works fine. Only when I turn on the computer I get that error.

December 2, 2018 at 11:25 pm #105582The batch file is already in the folder and when I paste the batch shortcut in the startup menu it shows the same wheelbar error when I start the computer

Than something is not right with either what you are doing, or something else on your system is the problem.
This is a Windows security issue during startup, with how it is handling that short-cut and batch file….and it not liking something running as Admin. Common problem….not just with Popper.
I followed those directions myself and it works fine here.

December 3, 2018 at 10:31 am #105634i would try one thing:
in batch file add this to top
timeout /t 10
maybe your system needs some extra time to get up to normal windows. this will delay 10 seconds prior to running…
if the 10 works… then lower the 10 and test what works.

December 4, 2018 at 1:15 pm #105713Thanks NailBuster. I fixed the timeout and that did it. It works now. I upped the seconds and it loads perfectly now, no error. Thanks again
