      First & foremost BIG thank you to everyone involved in making the PinUp System(including Popper) the ultimate companion to a visual pinball cab!

      I have really enjoyed many PuP-Packs from a variety creators, in no particular order…Tron(of course), STTNG, Batman the Dark Night, T2, Attack From Mars, GOTG, Avatar, Avengers.  The list could on & on…I may have a problem ;-)

      However, I come across an issue that I can’t solve with 3 PuP-Packs(Munsters, Flintstones & Twilight Zone) where everything starts & plays beautifully.  But as I get playing & get a few games deep the backglass goes blank, this happens @ different points in the gameplay where nothing over strenuous like multiball is running.  Also timed it & again all at different times.

      This has me scratching my head as I have so many PuP-Packs working which you would think PinUP is installed & running correctly.  Never, ever set anything to admin & UAC is set to level 2 plus no pesky defender or anti-virus running in the background.

      Thinking it has to be some setting outside of the PinUp system…as I have tried everything from NailBusters wiki including resizing the media with no change to the issue.  Even went basic in the VPX video settings to see if maybe it was the cab’s system not being able to handle the workload.

      Hoping someone has come across a solution to the above described issue with these 3 Pup-Packs…or would be interested to know if anyone else is having the same issue.  For me its the fun of getting a table working just right as much as playing them…like I said, I may have problem :yes:

      My baby’s specs…

      Win 10 Pro(64), i5-9600K @ 3.70GHz, 16GB RAM, RTX2070S
      40″4K playfield, 32″ 1080 backglass, 15.6″ topper, pindmd3
      VPX 10.6, PinUP 1.45, freezy 1.8.

        an easy test.  Take one of those vpx tables that you know has issues and run it without full screen-exclusive mode.  (easiest in popper is just to run it in record mode from front-end…don’t need to do any recording, but recordmode forces non-fs-ex).

        if it works fine then you know the issue is that some packs don’t have ‘normalized’ media…which can cause memory issues for some when running fx-ex.

          You are da man! :good:

          Just finish testing Munsters for the last hour without fs and no issues…that must be the culprit.  Would using Terry’s media conversion pack normalize the media in the PuP-Pack to run in fs or is their something else?

              I made a new ‘easier’ package with standard and resize scripts for pup-packs.  Try it out and let me know how it goes.

              There’s a readme.txt in zip file you must read first.

                The batch programs worked effortlessly…thanks for sharing!

                Here is the the very positive results on 2 of the 3 PuP-Packs I was having the issue with…will get The Twilight Zone tested & only update if the issue persists.

                The Munsters;

                • PUPStandardAllMedia_NoRescale_Replace – did not correct the issue…there must be something else funky with the videos.
                • PUPStandardAllMedia_1080p_Replace – did correct the issue…played more games than I would like to admit.  ;-)

                The Flintstones;

                • PUPStandardAllMedia_NoRescale_Replace – did correct the issue…played more games than one probably should.

                Appreciate all the support & keep being AWESOME! B-)

                p.s. @outhere never got to test your suggestion, but all the same appreciate your quick response.

                  I was having a similar issue with the Munsters pup pack. If I played it for about 30 minutes or so, the back glass and DMD would just disappear. I used NailBusters batch files above for it and boom working like a charm. I had to try a few different ones first but once I switched them to 720, the table no longer crashed. I want to say thank you to everyone that contributes to this hobby. I started a little over a year ago and I keep learning more and more everyday. You guys are amazing! Thanks again.
