PUPDMD FX3 runs slowly

Hi all

The pupdmd runs kinda slow with pinball fx3 and pin2dmd. Partly some actions in the dmd are not displayed correctly or on top of each other.

With DMDText the speed is correct, but all tables are only available in the orange color. Therefore I prefer pupdmd, because here the fx3 colors are automatically adopted.

Has anyone had this problem?

I have the same issue with pupdmd in combination with Freezy’s dll (I’ve tested with both 1.80 and 1.82). It goes away if I use Lucky’s dll for the PIN2DMD, but that really isn’t a good solution because PUP packs will not properly work unless you use Freezy’s.

My solution has been to use DMDExt, but use the –fx3-legacy switch.  When I use that switch I get the native color of the DMD in FX3, but without the occasional issues you described with pupdmd.  Hope that helps.
