January 24, 2019 at 2:03 pm #110882Oh ok I understand. I am probably leaning towards just using my ledwiz, and buying some relays, I have a couple of finder relays already, so probably just stick with those. I should require a second power supply to run the relays right? I am afraid that the error I was getting trying to use the ledtester is a totally separate issue I am having but not sure. Maybe I will do a fresh install of everything again once I get the ledwiz and the relays set up.

January 24, 2019 at 2:53 pm #110885I use a separate switching supply for each voltage and is the best way. I agree get something setup through the ledwiz even if a simple led to test your install first for sure. It is probably working but just not with your sainsmart you got is all

January 24, 2019 at 5:39 pm #110888I connected the ledwiz board I had and it was recognized by the pc. I downloaded ledblinky just to get a baseline and it recognized the device. I ran the included ledtester and it seem to work fine. When I replaced the ledwiz.dll with the newer modded version it gave me that same error I was getting before, so I guess I will stick with the original for now. I think I am going to try the LED strip light amp route and see how that goes. Thank you very much to everyone who helped me with this
