Seawitch is a classic Stern from 1980 featuring 4 flippers and 11(!) drop targets. This build originates from new playfield and plastic scans.
The build process for this is documented here.
Seawitch has been on my build wish-list for years. Thanks to all contributors that helped with the playfield scan to finally make it happen!

July 1, 2020 at 3:14 pm #189319A perfect table. I prefer to reset old scores from old games, starting clean. This nvram should match the apron score and the highscore is reset too. Thanks once again @bord.

July 1, 2020 at 3:52 pm #189328Agreed with marie: Watching the development process was enjoyable and highly informative. I knew a lot of work went into VPX table creation, but seeing it in action brings a whole new level of respect and appreciation

July 1, 2020 at 4:58 pm #189366Yeah, this is another day of riches for releases it seems. Happy Canada day to us Canucks!  This is indeed a superior release. All of us privileged to have checked out the youtube series on this build could see it was going to be excellent.
How can we tell a release is excellent?  Probably the #1 way is when a vpx table has that “one more game” comment from ourselves after we drain the last ball… then we notice we’ve said that about half a dozen times :). This is IMHO one of the better classic Stern pins. The look is great but the design is also unique while still being fun and it’s no pushover pin either.  I too love the little touches, especially that animated gate when the ball leaves the plunger lane is fantastic, really feels “right”
Superb job Bord, thank you so much for this release (well all of your releases!)

July 1, 2020 at 10:32 pm #189466I can’t stop playing this game!! It plays fast and mean. Rewards patience and good shooting, also really kicks your butt if you start flailing around.Â

July 1, 2020 at 10:51 pm #189467Damn. Just hit the ‘like’ button on a bunch of comments. Very cool community here. Following this build has been a real treat. From my early time on this site I’ve mentioned how I feel like I’m taking college courses …for free. And wow, the time put into creating and sharing this with us is boggling.
For those not there – – Seawitch showed up in the mall arcades with a handful of other ‘new wave’ tables like Quicksilver, Flash, S-ball Mania, others I forget – Space Invaders! and pinball playing was changed in ways it never had before. Truly a unique era and this table magically brings me back to it.
Thanks bord for …having whatever weird motivation artists have to share. This is some special stuff.
