I have sometime on and off thinking about build a Virtual Pinball machine but I have not have time and is not so cheap to build one.
I have not so big space at home so I can’t have any big original size cabinet at home so I was thinking maybe a 27″ or 32″ monitor.
Why I select monitor is what I understand that is very good if response time is as low as possible (<5ms) and I’m not sure if LED TV have that and also
like I say before I have not so big space at home and 27″ and 32″ monitor is alot to pick from with a low price.
So now I stuck to select a 1080 or 4K monitor and also 27″ or 32″. I guess many is going to say “Take 32″ 4K monitor” but is that the best buy for a beginner
when he is going to build his first VP?
Now have PinUP Popper Baller Installer release and I have install it on a computer that have dual monitor support and I have also connect with a zero delay usb controller and got it to work and I love it. I was thinking maybe start with something easy and maybe later upgrade to a better VP so I’m not sure if I going to jump on 4K screen.
So 27″ or 32″ and 1080 or 4K?

I’ve seen both 27 and 32″ builds that look great. I think most will recommend go as big as possible. The pricier 4k monitors I’m sure are nice but at that size I wonder if worth the extra cost over a 4k tv which have really come down in price where I am. Hopefully people with a mini will chime in. I started my build around 3 years ago and went 1080/40″ and while I have a 4k replacement it’s been in the box a while. I’m still amazed at how nice the 1080 looks and plays. But if you were starting a 40″+ build I would say definitely go as nice a 4k as possible and save yourself the situation I’m in – getting motivated to tear this apart and swap out pf screen/pc. Not sure I helped but I think a quick budget mini to get started might be the way to go and then down the road upgrade size and all! If space is a big issue, there are some vertical builds that are very creative as well.

If 4k is in the budget then go 4k. Tables look good in 1080 but they look amazing in 4k. Starting off 4k means you won’t have to make changes in the future. Just make sure your graphics card can handle 4k.
