      SHAKER:   S1 I28/S2 I28/S6 I32/S8 I32/S35 I32/W38 I28/W42 600 I32/W48 300 I32/W58 300 I32

For individual table settings which values would I change to lower the shaker intensity ?   The above line is from the DOF config tool.

My shaker gets very violent on certain tables, I am running the default at 8 ..

      Thanks !

Trigger S is for Solenoid, W is for switch and The I is for intensity
        The  300 is for time
Some items need a time value
        Lower the I value
        W48 300 I32

If your default Max is 8 I wonder why it’s going so violent?

Could you post and link to the game?

I did some DOF testing hitting the Genie
I did some shaker Motor testing from the rom like this

            Rom

I only have this statement in the DOF site for the shaker  – S35 300 I7
If I set the default high (Max Intensity) and the intensity low for the game the shaker runs slow
If I set the default low (Max Intensity) and the setting for the game Hi then the shaker runs slow S35 300 I37
If I set both high the shaker runs fast so that all seems to be working fine…

Then I did some testing with the Normal play of game Using ball control when I hit the genie the shaker will do whatever it wants
If I have the Max intensity set low and Game intensity set low the  shaker will run slow, Fast and sometimes both within the same hit

So the vanish magnet runs the shaker .?  I couldn’t find a shaker in the manual.  Thanks for trouble shooting – must be missing something simple – what would make it be so random.

Shaker simulates the magnets in pinball very good. So it’s used very lightly on magnets in many configs. Perfect if you ask me but should not be anything crazy that’s for sure

If the shaker goes faster than what the Max Intensity setting is….
what does the Max setting do

Again. No expert. To me it sounds like you’ve found a bug @outhere.

Thanks Thalamus, Randr, and Outhere for chimming in –  i have set the max intensity all the way down to 4 which lessens the intensity until the crazy one takes off,  it just seems like a timer issue where it is letting it run to long and also a higher intensity than intended.  Since I know myself and outhere have the same setup for this,  maybe the answer lies somewhere here.  Randr would you be so kind as to share your Shaker brand and controller – basically your general setup for this. Maybe that could point us in the right direction,  since yours doesn’t have seizures when you play.   Thanks again fellas much appreciated !!

I use real shaker available from places like pinball life and a simple H-Bridge and ledwiz have had this same setup for like 5-6 years without a single issue
