      Williams’ Shangri-La

      4 Players

Authorized conversion of Bodydump’s VP9 table. All the credit goes to him for this. I’m just the guy that laid it out and coded it up.

Been hoping to see a Shangri-La since following this sweet restore thread on Pinside:

Thanks, @loserman76! Really excited for this one.

Just got to spend some time with this.  Love the layout and artwork.  What a cool table to discover!  Having lots of fun adjusting lighting on this one. This playfield art has a LOT going on.   I think Christian Marche spent some extra time on this table and looks like you did too @loserman76 !!  Thanks for the amazing work you contribute to this community.  Truly Smithsonian.  A table like this I would have never seen….let alone play.  Very cool to now do both.

Oh – if I recall correctly, the movie Lost Horizon (1937) had a resurgence of interest/tv showings about the time this table came out.  That movie tells the tale of Shangri-La and is oddly the only movie worth watching about the story.

                Thanks again LM!!
