Background: 2020… worst year for many. I have been furloughed since last March and have started working on my lounge to keep me sane. After finishing the bar, game table, and arcade cab; I took on the hardest challenge yet… my V-Pin cab. I wanted something to go with my dive bar feel I have going. So I pulled from my youth and made the cab to look like something out of the Stone Pony in the early 90’s. Matte black paint and 250 stickers. This is a budget build and my first cab as I’m pretty new to pinball. The 32″ playfield was a donated 720 tv (and will be the first thing I upgrade.) Backglass was a refurbished 22″ monitor. Computer was a donated i5 4th gen, 12 gig ram. Added a 256g SSD and a rx550 i bought around 3 years ago. Cheap 25 dollar mini sound bar on top and some old buttons that i had lying around. Running Popper at launch and using a mix of VPX and FX3.

Planned upgrades: 32″ 1080 playfield SSF with 4 exciters

            Good luck with your challenges.

The Stone Poney had to be an interesting place to hang at in the 90’s. Glad it’s survived. Would love to visit some day as there’s a Pinball Museum just down the road now.

Have fun with your cab. Looking good!!
