July 12, 2019 at 6:26 pm #136292Amazing work on the table!! I own an original and it plays very similar! The spinner on this game does not seem to be registering, maybe I missed something.
Thank you for your hard workÂ
*Edit* Quickest fix ever! Excellent excellent work!!!!
Ryan
Nope, not you. Looks like I changed the spinner name at some late date.
Quick fix is uploaded as 1.0a.
If you don’t want to download again just change line 416 to:
Sub spinner1_Spin():VPMTimer.PulseSw 37:End Sub

July 12, 2019 at 9:10 pm #136301Wow. This is …well, let me say that I have a grill fired up outside listening to a ballgame…it’s a balmy night in Cleveland…but I’m down in my band-cave checking this out! Loved this game. So interesting seeing early ramp games and experiencing them again. Thanks for all this amazing work!! And since the banana flipper game seems to be on hold…I went and picked up some Natty Light to stay up late with this game tonight.  oof

Someone noticed that rom voices are ways too quiet with this table (rom) ? appears with latest release of sambuild 3.2 beta (4802). tested sambuild 3.1 release and voices / effects are normal then.

July 13, 2019 at 2:14 pm #136416Thanks for the update!  I love to play this table, but it’s either a really hard table or I suck at it…can’t get any decent scores. Keep tying!

July 13, 2019 at 2:34 pm #136419Thanks for the update!  I love to play this table, but it’s either a really hard table or I suck at it…can’t get any decent scores. Keep tying!
It is hard. I usually set my games up on conservative operator settings since VP generally plays a little easier or at least more predictably than real pinball. Maybe I have a high tolerance for pain, but I lose interest in easy games really fast. I usually tune up the physics until I find a really sweet spot where I just keep wanting to play one more game, but everyone has a different level for that.
Near the top of the script there is an option for liberal operator settings, which moves the outlane posts a bit. It breaks the visual build of the table just slightly but if you’re just plain pissed at this game you can try that out.

July 13, 2019 at 3:32 pm #136426I use the liberal setting and the table still kicks my ass. But at least I feel like I have a chance. Its a great table either way.
Current Project: Perpetual updates of VPX physics.
