Bally’s Star-Jet is a visual stunner. Atomic era art combined with pinball’s first three-ball multiball make this a notable part of pinball history.
This VPX release is a bord/rothbauerw collaboration. Bord on visuals, rothbauerw on script/VR/FSS.
It was initiated by robobet and resources were cobbled from a variety of photos to create the playfield and plastics. Backglass base image was generously provided by popotte. Thanks to the beta testers.
Some notes:
- Ball lift works via plunger
- This game is a lot of fun with two players (lock stealing)
- B2S is included in the download
- This game is VR/FSS tested and ready (check script)
- Seriously, the art
- Someone helped me prep the plastic art and I lost his contact info. Hit me up so I can give you proper credit…

April 10, 2020 at 1:43 pm #171730Hello, Bord. First thanks for this beauty! I love your work, as always. Just one thing, maybe I’m doing something wrong, I’m not able to get the same colours as your pic on the playfield. When I first launch it, it is very dark, and if I touch the environment emission, it becomes washed out. What should I do? Thanks

April 10, 2020 at 1:55 pm #171732This is an instant favorite for me. I know, I know, I say that about every bord table. But as far as EM’s go, this might be the best.
Current Project: Perpetual updates of VPX physics.

OK, my bad, sorry, just forgot the VPX shortcut I used wasn’t linked to the last VPX version… Thanks again, Bord, for this beauty!

April 10, 2020 at 6:01 pm #171777@bord man, the reflection of the rebound rubber in the top left insert.. that is some neat trick, makes all the difference! Unbelievable attention to detail, simply beautiful stuff and plays as realistic (and frustrating) of that era as it should. Thanks Bord and Roth for yet another reference table for our collection
