May 8, 2019 at 10:33 pm #127664Hi all just getting into this community. I have been able to get a few tables working. This one is different. It is playable but has no audio other than the ball and flipper sounds. Am I missing something?

May 8, 2019 at 11:35 pm #127667Not sure. Might be that you need to crank up the volume of the rom.

May 9, 2019 at 1:58 am #127677It should work right out of the box. Maybe clean out the old nvram and see if that helps in any way. Also check that you have the correct sound card set under audio prefs for vpx.

Still problems ? Get roms from VPU.

July 7, 2019 at 9:54 am #135641Been playing it for about an hour now and I had to abort two games. Both started out with a fast shot to the lock. Ball just disappeared I guess. Might it be that the physics have changed a bit and the ball is a bit faster or lighter I wonder ?
Thank you very much @Knorr / @ClarkKent and @Callev – looks and plays great, except for that lock problem.

July 7, 2019 at 12:57 pm #135653Lovely new version of my favourite table (1.3)…Â but I’m having a couple problems.
1)Â Can I disable surround in the script? (I’m set up for contractors and regular sound) I deleted the NVRAM and turned the rom sound all the way up to 31 but it’s still a little quiet.
2) Far more annoying, that nice golden light effect on the instruction card moves when I change the inclination right in to the middle of the game. The ideal incline for my cabinet puts a big spotlight on the klingon. where would I delete that?
Thanks,
Darien

July 7, 2019 at 1:26 pm #135654Can you explain why surround is a problem ? I really don’t get why. Sure, you can disable it in the script. Just modify all the playsound calls to not have the 9th parameter and you’re back to left and right only – if you don’t want to disable that too ?? Â
Another way – don’t use 5.1 under audio preferences.
