September 3, 2019 at 4:44 pm #144036If you are talking about a DT backdrop, there is one included with table.
If you are trying to activate a db2s backglass in DT mode, you will need to download a db2s backglass, and then go into editor, and click Preferences tab, then click Keys DOF Nudge tab, then on right side of menu you will see a place to uncheckmark Disable B2S. Now your backglass will load on table start.
@knorr, clark kent, and rothbauer…Thanks for the update with all the fixes!!

September 3, 2019 at 8:08 pm #144045thanks for your reply. Sorry but it was completely my fault. I put all my tables on a new drive with more space. this table was the first new after that. i did not recognize that i must run “B2SBackglassServerRegisterApp.exe” again because i deleted the old directories where it was before. Now everything works again ;)

September 4, 2019 at 7:07 am #144081For the ball stuck on the rubber. Add a ramp over the rubber to deflect the ball away should it jump and land there.
Have to chuckle – now I know why there was a foam rubber on the beta ramp exactly on this place. On my replacement ramp there was no such rubber and I always wondered why the designers put a piece of foam rubber there… :)

September 4, 2019 at 6:26 pm #144108Can anyone help me understand how to get the music and sound effects raised? It plays fine but all I can hear is the ball and the flippers and other mechanical actions. The voice overs, music, and sound effects are very very low in the background, they can hardly be heard.
I am using Visual Pinball 10.6.0

September 5, 2019 at 1:08 am #144136Thank you so much for the update!! Such a magnificent table.
Have a quick question about the Borg Ship. It isn’t mentioned in the change log but the borg ship totally changed in 1.4 yes? It is a different model and lighted differently. Just curious about the changes on it. Looks great. So much like on the original table.

The ship models never changed, its the hdr enviroment that changed the look.

September 8, 2019 at 1:23 pm #144452I saw this from 1.3 and asked Knorr.
He said:
“Apperntly the light spot is from the hdr. I try to rotate and see how it will work”
Does anyone know where this hdr image is?
Depending on the POV it moves, so may possible to move it when happy with the pov.

Guys, the “hotspot” on the playfield is a side effect of the new updated hdr environment which coincidentally helps everything look so great on this latest version of Knorr’s masterpiece. The severity depends on your cab POV, it is very pronounced if you’re using the supplied POV. Try my settings below which conceal the hotspot pretty well without making any additional changes to the table or the brilliant hdr image:
