That looks fine, the table graphics are shown correctly…
So, if I have no other idea, I can play at least the VP9 version

thanks mate, but with that replacement now it comes up (with no error – yay) and GI works but no inserts. (boo)
i tried with both 10.1 and 10.2 same issue – no inserts

Sounds like you’re using an older version of the table or the wrong controller. If you download the new 10.2 beta from VPF it comes with the updated controller. Think it needs an updated core too.

I tried with 10.2 and 10.1 both, with and without updated controller that you linked. what do you mean updated core? Is it a separate download?

Also had no insert lights upon downloading. I then installed the SAM 2.9 beta and they lit right up. However today I used my patched rom for color dmd using a monitor for virtual dmd and lost the playfield insert lighting. Kills me cause I love this table. Anything I can try to get the lighting back????

Don’t use patches rom? Or make sure .dll for dmd is current

Regular rom also has no lights on inserts. The “official” SAM build had no lights. The 2.9 beta as well as the updated beta released yesterday both missing lights whereas the last release was the only way I got them in the first place. I’m going to try switching back to old rom and delete the reg file and nvram. This one will have to stay single color I guess… :(

If you like it lighter just use the day/night slider in vp editor. I prefer it darker but everyone can adjust it a bit to their taste with vp

That is a per table setting. Meaning you have to set each table how you want it, with the slider. Be sure to save.
