wow man! really impressed with your table, i dont play original tables on my cab but this one will stay for sure, looks like a future pinball table with all the neon and callouts, really impressed with yoour work, and i dont even like starwars!

i really recommend  put this song as the playfield song instead of the one that comes with the table(mandolarian theme)

makes the game 100% more epic

Scandroid – The Force Theme (Star Wars Cover) google it

Thanks, great work and a great table. Much Appreciated.

One Thing, I cannot seem to get the B2S working, looking at the script it seems fine, b2s Server is on the latest version, any help would be appreciated, Flex DMD is working fine.

b2s works in cabinet / landscape mode only – not in desktop mode (switched via script).

I like the theme, love the audio, and the 3d models are great!

I feel like the playfield is way too long and empty though. Maybe move the pop bumpers down and enlarge that area so there’s some more space for the ball to bounce around? And maybe tweak the alignment/position of the top flipper. I may be missing something, but I can’t figure out what I’m supposed to shoot for with it. It would feel awesome to be able to nail the right ramp on that flipper as a skill shot just after ball launch. Doubly awesome if you could also nail some of the drop targets from around the pop bumpers with that flipper too.

                            Cool table!

i just installed flexdmd only for this table and its giving me ball stutter, installation went without issues, flexdmd start correctly and everything works as it should, but i got ball stutter, when disabled, the table plays smooth as all the other ones, thats why i dont usd ultradmd or original tables, anyone with the same problem?

@forte : Yes, I’ve noticed that myself. I tried different video options, vsync etc a couple of days back. Never thought about checking flex as it hasn’t given me any reasons before. I’m a few versions behind on both flex and freezy, and I’m running a pindmd3. So, it might even be a difference there. I’ve planned to check this in more detail over the weekend.

Same here … frame rate permanently goes down; tried many things (ball reflection from playfield, playfield reflections, without b2s, without flexdmd), but nothing helps.

Finally i think it´s something with timing / flasher things, checked some timers for very low values. But didn´t solve it yet. Even if you aren´t playing and simpy holding the ball; the frame rate is going down.

                                    Let´s see …

I’m now updated to the very latest of FlexDMD and Freezy. Did not solve the issue. Mind you, only tested this, no searching for culprits on the table. I doubt that it is table related now though. I could reproduce the issue with the old combination of drivers. Turning flexdmd off and it is stable for a whole game. Turning it on, it begins not very long after game has started, maybe like 30-45 seconds or so ( rough guess ). This, no matter what version of flexdmd/freezy I’m using.

Stutter seems to be related to drop in fps.

Stutter seems to be related to drop in fps.

It´s really a strange behavior. When struggling/ fps dropping begins the cpu and gpu load keeps constant the whole time.

                                        cpu 50% / gpu 23%

So no problem at this side of componpents. maybe it´s really a table side “timer” problem or something similar

It might very well be. I’m now a bit confused to the problem. I was recently given a “unnamed” table by JPS, it uses FlexDMD in a very similar way. I was NOT able to get that to drop in fps at all.

“unnamed” because it will be released, after 10.7 is done, just don’t want to spoil the surprise.

JP says that this is the variable that causes problems on ultradmd, but i didnt find “uDMDScoreTimer” on the script.

i think flex dmd uses the same variables as ultradmd.

                                            –from jp ghostbusters slimer–

“UltraDMD uses its own timer, called uDMDScoreTimer, which runs at an interval of 200. You may increase that timer so it is updated less often. Use the editor to increase that timerinterval. Increase it to 500 or 1000 and see if it makes any difference”
