No worries Borgdog it was just a thought.. I’m a big fan of the initials, I mod every table that goes on my cab weather it just be FS settings or custom lighting etc. etc. so it’s really no problem.
I’ve never added a sticky note but I’m sure if I do a little research there will either be a tutorial or an example in a table I can follow.. Now I’m just hopping for a 2 more Star Wars tables from you to complet the original trilogy..
maybe one with some ramps in an old school Gottlib style. Again, great work on this it’s fun as hell. Say, that is a great idea! Match the next tables to others from the years the others were released like we did this one.
I don’t know though. Ramps? That could be pushing BD’s comfort zone.

Hit me up if you need help with the ramps.. I’d be more than happy to help once the layout/flow is finalized etc. etc.

July 14, 2016 at 11:35 pm #33331As long as I don’t have to make up more stories, that was way too much thinking for me.
You got an example of an early Gottlieb ramp table? didn’t think they made any very early on. Return of the Jedi came out in ’83, gottlieb I don’t think had ramps in any of 83 or 84 games.

July 15, 2016 at 12:40 am #33332Well, they didn’t have multi-ball in 77-78 either. DorgBog was a ground breaker in pinball development!

Whats your next, this one ? http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=5893 Nice find Stat! I had not seen that one, backglass looks good for a Empire Strikes back, playfield looks a little barren though.

July 15, 2016 at 10:25 am #33361Thanks for the great table, will give this one a nice spin tonight and use the posted wheel image HauntFreaks posted. Really deserves all the credits on my pincab.
The Force table in the link looks like it did not receive a lot of love.. Nice backglass though!

Whats your next, this one ? http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=5893Honestly, that looks cool but what makes Borgdog’s table so special is that it’s an original..

July 15, 2016 at 12:32 pm #33366Thank you for this fun EM, BD. I agree with ICP–I’d like to see initials available for the high score postit.

July 16, 2016 at 2:19 am #33395Great stuff! And the story is almost cooler than the table itself. :)

July 16, 2016 at 2:35 am #33396Fired it up for the first time today. Such beautiful work. I love the r2d2 shot, and the “beneath the Deathstar” shot. Just a brilliant design. Gottlieb missed out on employing you guys. Amazing team!

July 16, 2016 at 5:29 am #33401This table is a lot of fun and great design! I don’t seem to have DOF, is there anything special I need to activate? Got the lastest directoutputconfig installed.

July 16, 2016 at 6:11 am #33402What a great surprise!
Many thanks Borgdog. This makes me want to learn more on VP in order to add a few droids/SW sounds to this table :)

July 16, 2016 at 11:23 am #33419After playing it for an hour I couldn’t resist to add some random music and sound to the table. I hope I do not offend the BorgDog Company with me fiddling around with this beauty. If someone would like to play around with it please feel free to use the dropbox links. Just unzip the music file to your Music directory. The samples have been included in the sound library of the table. May the force be with you

Back to getting a new highscore…

July 16, 2016 at 12:15 pm #33420@senseless i have the dof code in and have let arngrim know about it, he needs to make sure I did it correctly and then add the config to the DOF config site then it will work (maybe after an update here).
I also have a version with optional initial entry for high score coming and a couple minor fixes as soon as the DOF is approved.
Curious as to what people are getting for high scores. I haven’t actually played an immense amount of games just to try for score, usually just testing out stuff I’ve coded. My current high on the mini-cab is around 161,000 and only about 116,000 on the laptop.

July 16, 2016 at 1:00 pm #33421Hi BorgDog, I currently have around 144,000 so I need to practise a bit more :). You really made a nice piece of pinball machinery. DOF will make it even more cool. I did change the bell sound for the 100 and 1000 score as both had kind of a echo sound to it. Now all three bell sounds are the same as the sound of the 10 score.
Tonight I will get a decent score in! But first I have to finish watching the first episodes of Stranger Things together with my wife, a new really cool serie on Netflix I can recommend to anyone who loves the SF from the 80′ (think Spielberg meets King).
