anyone feel like rebuilding the Light Inserts on a PF

Most of the light don’t seem to work because the Light Inserts are blacked out.

I should have this table built in the next few days.

Good game, played it quite a few times. If you need graphics, you can use mine if you are in a pinch. It’s very old stuff but useable still There’s some star lens shaped stuff in there

I fixed the PF image,  the only thing missing is a  HQ backglass scan for a better looking dB2s

I am gonna try to get scans or pics of my backglass today.  I may need someone to do some touch up or stitching.  I will post them on here later

So scan wasn’t going to work and no place to get one scanned now.  I tried to take pics but the backglass is super reflective.  I tried taking at a slight angle as to avoid warping the image but to remove my reflection.  Here is phase 1.  https://www.dropbox.com/sh/jwqfwiz5ur7n8pi/AADOMndLr8I8nNI0p4296tPza?dl=0

 

If anyone has better advice on how to do it or can make a good image out of these let me know.  Maybe it would be better to do a couple whole backglass pics???  I’ll be here all month!

thanks but you mind doing this again

their are multiple ways of doing this but can you please set your camera similar to this

you took your pics at an angle,  the perspective can be fixed but its better to start with flat images

 

and their is  a part missing

the upper right  and lower left corners where cropped.

similarly it would be nice to have some extra padding on the upper section.

the extra padding can be easily cropped but the missing sections will take allot more work to add.

Definitely can try whatever you want.  I tried to maintain the same distance and angle but it I do directly overhead it shows my reflection and I figured that would be harder to remove.  I will try rd 2 tonight

here are a few more.  camera batteries went dead.  the bottom left corner chrome is peeling, that will have to be touched up.   I can do another round later or tomorrow.  I may be able to get one shot straight down if the sun isn’t out.

the way photo-merging works is that the adjacent images need to share a large percent in order for the images to be merged

the light blue section needs to have 20%-40% (the more the better) of the green section

the  yellow section needs to have 20%-40% (the more the better) of the green section

the red section needs to have 20%-40% (the more the better) of the light blue section

in short the more pictures the better

Color looks funny, with the missing pics someone can color correct to something closer to the original. Is this a good color reference?

Btw, I am more excited about playing this table than I have been about most others.  I am in the process of rebuilding my actual stellar wars and need some motivation since I have never played this before.

let me know what you need for the backglass.  A third round of even more pics of the whole thing or are you working with frens
