June 24, 2016 at 2:51 pm #32300That didn’t work for me either. I was able to find it through Google translation, but the entire page doesn’t seem to be loading. Not a big deal and I look forward to watching the WIP here.
Thanks for all the hard work!

June 24, 2016 at 10:59 pm #32319Fire! just seems to be a natural fit for VPX. The lighting especially. Very mature VP9 and PM5 versions out there.

June 25, 2016 at 12:01 pm #32347Just noticed that Aliens Legacy is an option on Tom and Ninuzzu’s Italian site. I would love to have that table in VPX!

it needs code changes (what i haven’t a clue)
and if its going to be vpx there is no reason not to change all the posts to primitive posts
and fake rubbers to real rubbers
all new lighting would only make sense
lots of VP9 plastics were done kinda cheesey with ramp edges
and if its really old there’s the dreaded 1024×1024 PF’s!!!!!! i could kill the dude that thought that wa s a good idea
so in the end for it to be a good port your doing a lot, and using littleYou need to login in order to like this post: click here
July 1, 2016 at 1:52 am #32738I think JP took the blame for the 1024 playfields, don’t kill him! Despite being “retired” he’s still cranking out some fun stuff!
How much code change is needed depends on the table. Road Kings had about 30-40% of the code redone for new features/objects use. Jacks Open only about 20%. TAF I just redid from scratch, it seemed easier that way.

all the game listed are some of the best playing games in vpx…. road king is a completely new game in VPX much more enjoyable

July 1, 2016 at 12:45 pm #32747I’ve been working on a few ports and like HF said it is basically a total playfield rebuild. 90% of the code stays or changes a little and then there is that final 10% that completely befuddles me. That’s where the experts come in.
