No Sir that does not fix the problem, but It seems I was mistaken on where it was happening …. the left outside loop triggers the repeating contactor until the ball drains and the loop is hit again. The Magic Carpet left ramp triggers the 3 to 4 seconds of double contactor firing  ….  I will try to get a video taken and put it on Dropbox later tonight.

Edit … The outside diverter is causing the repeating contactor when it is open to the inside loop.

No I run a 3 screen cabinet.  Sorry I didnt think to mention that.  My DMD is displaying vertically inside the horizontal display.

While we all wait for the Flupper’s masterpiece, here’s a small update on my mod.

Updated to 1.3

• Fixed ramp separator being inside the spiral ramp (thx Draifet!)
• Fixed popping sound distortion on the lower right ramp rolling SFX
• Few minor material improvements (also thanks Draifet)
• Polished wire ramp connection on the lower right part of the table
• Wire ramp is now bronze
• Greatly improved inserts lighting.

A question, I have a problem with the external DMD only on this table, if I change the regedit value to dmd_height 162 (my default), after the first game it always reverts to 259, anyone know how to fix this?

Dazz, I’m not at the cab right now, but if I remember right, then there is an option to remove the rails within the script.

I was just getting ready to change all my tables to fast flips. Is this something I should wait to do for a while? When 10.6 is released, would I need to go back and change all the scripts again? Will a future release be able to include fast flips with no change to any scripts needed? Thanks all.

No – you do not need to go back. With 10.6 there is a updated core.vbs that takes care of fastflips for you. You will get problems with Medusa and Vector. One thing you can do to make it really easy for yourself is to download scripts from this url https://github.com/sverrewl/vpxtable_scripts

You can download them all as a zip – extract them somewhere. And for the tables you want to change, put the script along side the table just as you do for db2s backglasses. This feature however REQUIRES 10.6. You should read the info in the end first, so you understand why the scripts are there in the first place and the warning about using correct script to correct table.
