Testing option for download index

Give this index a test and let me know your thoughts please.

should show upload date and option to download straight off index. look at eyeball, folder or open icons to see what each one does.

This is just something ive been trying to sort out so comments are welcome!

You can still click on title of download to open the actual download page of coarse

I would like to be able to get into VPX tables directly… like a first layer link.  I would also like to see more than 5 results per page as the default.  Maybe like 20 results per page.

@drybonz if i make this final will show more on each page. what do you think of date now showing? the option to download from index is different too

You mean the date of the upload?… that’s really good.  It would be cool to see the file version (1.0, 1.1, etc) in the same spot.

Oh, I see… you can download the file without having to go into the individual table descriptions… yeah, that is really nice.

*edit*  Some of the tables have the file version in the title, but that just depends on whether the author lists it.  It would be cool to see it on every one at a glance so you can tell if you need the new version.

I like it.  Good overview with quick access.  This could decrease traffic also.
Folder and  eyeball had no function for me. I guess folder means more than one file inside, and eyeball preview. But there was no click or mouseover (hover) effect.
The open icon works and also the downloads inside.
