Good grief. Now I know what those #’s are for in the editor! Not sure I needed to know this. Pretty sure I’m going to screw something up.

July 27, 2019 at 2:07 pm #139187Yes, there was a beta version Paragon posted using playfield_meshed based kicker physics. How good they are depends on how close we can get the geometry to the real thing. Bord’s new tables with kickers all use the playfield_mesh and the physics are all very good.
I’m working on a table right now where I feel like the kicker physics are spot on. It took several iterations of adjusting the geometry to get it there. We you get it right, it’s one of those little things that make you smile while you’re playing because you forget it’s not a real table.

July 27, 2019 at 3:49 pm #139207Yeah, Paragon was just a quick test when the feature was added to 10.6. should be refined and released officially. Haven’t added it to C37 yet but will by December.
In the video tutorial I did about creating pf meshes I used a variation on the Deadly Weapon saucers and think those are among the best behaving ones I’ve seen… Although I’m positive that Roth’s will be another step forward.
There isn’t a one size fits all solution since different games and eras have a different amount of bevel around the kicker hole. I’m still totally enamored with the pf mesh addition to VPX.

July 27, 2019 at 6:20 pm #139221Paragon IS the reason I discovered VP. There was one in a bowling alley when I was in high school and for the life of me, could not remember it’s name. Started scrolling through the 100’s of pages on Pinside’s thread of pics of people’s game rooms and around page 20 read the words…’virtual’ under someone’s collection. Doomed from there. Would love to see Paragon given some more love!!  wow, this thread is really long as well.

September 28, 2019 at 1:33 am #146366If everything is installed correctly, and you are up to date on the latest vp and vpm – db2s loads without any problems. So, the answer is yes.

October 2, 2019 at 9:18 am #146712This is on my cab.fresh download, no adjustments made to table. Gets stuck behind white light by the right
lane to right flipper. This happens on multiple versions of this table.
Thnks

October 2, 2019 at 11:20 am #146715By stuck you mean that you still see the ball ? As outhere says. A picture would explain it much better. I’m yet to experience a stuck ball on this table, not that I don’t believe you.
