Hi, I love this table, but I have a problem. I cant play it because when the table is loaded the flipper keys are not working. When I press start button the siren sounds and the score in the dmd starts but there is not ball to launch and if I press the launch button the table closes. can someone help me. Thanks

Yes. Unzipped all files in Virtual pinball folder and the core.vbs file is in the script folder.

Two hours later:

I’ve set the Nvidia Settings to default.

Only the Flintstones is runing at 47 FPS with Vsync on.

With Vsync off it’s runing at 67 FPS.

It’s a mess.

Disable your Ambient Occlusion.

OMG – the ball image drives me crazy – anyone noticed yet? It looks like you are mirrored standing behind a pinball machine !!! and its moving depending on where the ball is rolling – i am going nuts … never noticed sth like that before… this table truly deserves an award – reality has a hard time to beat this!

Thanks for posting this table, but for me it is not recognizing the ROM. The following message appears: Machine ‘fs_lx5’ (Flintstones, The (LX-5)) terminated before initialized, check the rom path or rom file!
I installed VPX 10.6 and the ROM file has the following files:

flin_lx5.rom
fs_u2_s.l1, fs_u2_s.l1 … fs_u9_s.l1
pin2dmd.pal
pin2dmd.vni

Any suggestions to solve this problem?

I’ve done it already (downloaded a rom from many sites), but none worked.

Nelson:  scale back the test, so just load up vpinmame setup.exe and “test” the rom to ensure it works.  If it still doesn’t work then you either have the rom in the wrong location, have unzipped it (they need to stay zipped), have the wrong VPINMAME installed, don’t have vpm installed correctly, etc.

 

ie: this is likely not a “flintstones table” issue, so test the rom within vpm’s setup.exe and start from there
