February 1, 2017 at 10:04 am #46876So Dozer sent me a version of the table to check out with the new models all added in and here was my response to him:
“I think it looks great, we do good work.
Also I noticed a pretty massive performance boost with this version, previously (with my new video card evga 1050ti ftw) I could run the table stutter free but I had to turn off 4xAA. As soon as I would turn on 4xAA it would stutter really badly but now I can play it with 4xAA on with no signs of stutter. So considering how costly 4xAA is on performance, the boost the table got from this update is quite obvious.”

February 1, 2017 at 12:10 pm #46879I also noticed the prison zombie model was updated….I think by ninuzzu?….not sure but in any case it’s had it’s face count dramatically reduced as well so we save roughly another 17k faces there.
I was playing around with Dozer’s options a bit and I was able to squeeze a few extra fps out the table by doing a few small things. Â If you select either authentic or my bicycle girl mod, disable the animation for it in the options and set to static. Â Do the same for the prison head, set to static after disabling animation. Â This really only makes a small difference and most of you will probably be satisfied with the performance boost with the upcoming update, but if you want to make it as optimal as possible you can use the tips I stated above…..generally the more goodies like animations you disable the more it will help. Â I think beyond that, the only other major way to improve the table’s performance would be to group the primitive plastics into groups of single mesh’s. Â The models for prison head and bicycle girl are pretty low poly so they don’t have a huge impact but animating them does cause for more steady ‘state changes’.
