– slingshot flashers
-background ambient music
-lsd ball

August 22, 2017 at 1:37 pm #62016Thank you!
Been playing the VP9 for a wile and it’s a really fun and “strange” kind of table with that right mini loop, very funny, Great job that you guys made it available for VPX, thanks!

August 22, 2017 at 9:28 pm #62051Hmmm- looks and plays fantastic. thanks for sharing your creation. However I have put the music file in the music folder in the tables folder. The table plays with sound but no music- I get this error “Bass music/sound library cannot load bla bla bla” Is there something Im missing. thanks again- Great addition to the cab.
Edit- DOH- Idiot (me). The music file needs to stay in the “time fantasy” folder. Alls well now- thanks again- Music really does make it even more trippy.

August 22, 2017 at 10:29 pm #62057very cool man…
EDIT: I do have a question tho, why is flupper putting (photoshopping) the shadow right onto the PF… man-oh-man thats real taboo in this time and age….
its just as easy to make a shadow layer and not invade the integrity of that poor harmless PF…. Â
in the end, by it being right on the PF it becomes a one uses PF….other then that… the fading light , the flickering…. all super cool effects…

August 23, 2017 at 12:02 am #62060Saw this earlier today on LayLow’s YouTube channel and got really excited for release. Glad it dropped so soon. Was a mystery to me!
The lighting here is so cool. Reminds me of the black velvet and neon heavy metal posters from the 80s. Dirty Donnie would approve!
Love the psychedelic theme. One of my favorite “sleeper” tables. So glad to see this update. Killer work!

August 23, 2017 at 7:26 pm #62078& Ben .. I will indeed, still waiting for needed changes (in the works) in vp 10.4, changes that affect all my FSS mods, and I don’t want to re-upload 100+ tables twice.

August 23, 2017 at 7:35 pm #62079With due respect to Hauntfreaks, I really like the photoshopped playfield shadows. Adds a different quality of depth, to my eyes. High Speed VPX is similar. This technique is in the grand tradition of Pinuck, imo. That dude’s tables still look amazing years later!

Ben, i’m only going to disagree because after years (25ish year) of doing this in PS no matter if its on the PF or a layer above the PF the same exact effect as pinuck,JP,and now flupper …. again I wouldnt talk out of turn if I didnt know this as 100% fact….
send me any VPX without it, and I can add the shadow layer with the same results….
one disclaimer: Â I’m not in anyway saying I can do it better than any of these guys, just that it can be done without destroying the original PF with the same results…

August 23, 2017 at 8:55 pm #62083just last night i whipped one out out for Ripley’s  ….. and remember it can be as blurry or as sharp as you like… things close to the PF would be more sharp and more blurry farther away…

August 23, 2017 at 11:17 pm #62092Thanks, Haunt. I understand what you’re saying now. Thanks for breaking it down for me! Sounds like you like the effect, and are pointing out you can get the same look by putting shadows on separate layer. I can dig that (although I’m often slow to catch on!).

August 23, 2017 at 11:30 pm #62094I think if i had to some it up it would be that i would hate to see PF images that are being used to preserve history, not have anything added to them
back in the old days….lol…Â pinuck and JP had no other option… just like PS lighting…. we have awesome tools now to avoid all that now…You need to login in order to like this post: click here
