Fantastic table and Pup-Pack. Congrats everyone!
Changed to Slicker font on the LCD dmd to somewhat match the other fonts.

June 16, 2020 at 12:40 pm #186509I am running Ultra DMD via FlexDMD on my PinDMDv3 and when exiting the table the last frame of the DMD stays on the display.
Anyone have a fix for this?
And no, I can’t just run the PUP DMD because I am running a 144hz playfield and there is slowdown when using this PUP.

June 16, 2020 at 11:57 pm #186589Hello Terry! I’m Ludovic from Réunion Island.
Thank you for this work, this looks awesome, it is spectacularly!
I have one problem, I have the window called “PUPSCRENN11” which does not come in the foreground on the Backglass, I need to use Alt + Tab to bring it manually in the foreground.
I use “PUPDMD on the Backglass with B2S” to get the 4 player score from the directb2s.
Sorry for my english
Mine does the same thing so you aren’t alone. It’s because we are using directb2s in addition to PUP. Directb2s seems to always takes precedence which is why it is on top. It’s worth it to me to have the additional scoreboard along the bottom. The only real solution is probably to add another monitor unless a pupack gets released that has the scoreboard integrated on the bottom.

June 17, 2020 at 12:01 am #186591The solution is read the install instructions again. You need to update b2s server to the latest version, and change it’s settings so the directb2s is pushed behind the pup-pack.

This came out of the script from the minions game that comes with the FlexDMD master
Sub Table1_Exit()
Savehs
Controller.Pause = False
Controller.Stop
If Not UltraDMD is Nothing Then
If UltraDMD.IsRendering Then
UltraDMD.CancelRendering
End If
UltraDMD.Uninit
UltraDMD = NULL
End If
End Sub

June 28, 2020 at 11:02 pm #188742Love this table but am having a weird issue I’ve never seen. Table plays fine but the lights operate slowly for some reason. Meaning the initial light show displays the effects in slow motion. frames are locked at 60 and I have tried everything i can think of to fix. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. FYI, I have a test install on my PC which does not suffer from the same issue as my cab.

June 28, 2020 at 11:21 pm #188743What do you mean by initial light show ? Maybe make a video – always helps when describing something visual.

June 29, 2020 at 12:04 am #188747I will try to post a video tomorrow. Initial light show meaning playfield light sequence prior to starting a game. Lights move slowly for some reason.

June 29, 2020 at 9:27 pm #189021Here is the video of the light sequence. As you can see it is obviously slow but if you want I can upload a video from my PC showing the light sequence as it should be. Thanks for your time

June 29, 2020 at 11:30 pm #189046Heading to work now, did have a quick peek at your video and I can’t see anything wrong with it. Not that I remember how it is showing on my pin though. If I remember it, I’ll have a look when I’m back to see if mine is the same or not.

June 30, 2020 at 8:06 pm #189170Looks like the way mine does. Seems fine to me. Does the table play OK?

June 30, 2020 at 9:13 pm #189175It plays okay. But if you watch closely in the video you’ll notice the lights moving slowly. Its most obvious when they are going through a spinning or scrolling pattern. Harder to pick up when its just flashing. Its more of an annoyance but I’m a perfectionist when it comes to my cab. also would like to know what the prob is just in case its affecting any other tables. Thanks for looking.

June 30, 2020 at 11:39 pm #189189I looked at my version of the table, and I’m having difficulty seeing any issues with yours as Tom mentioned.

July 1, 2020 at 4:47 pm #189357I also compared as well as I could with online videos of the actual game and appears to be very accurate in terms of lighting and speed.

July 5, 2020 at 11:45 pm #190060Okay my wife has informed me I work too hard on making everything perfect and I no longer take any time to enjoy playing pinball. Unfortunately… shes right. Gonna let this one go and just enjoy playing pinball for a while. Thanks to all who viewed the video and replied. All input is much appreciated.
