They probably are both referred to switch 14 because they do the exact same thing in the real game…
Yes there are solenoid but I think back in the beginning of solid state Not all solenoids went through the circuitry…
When the ring is hit it makes a switch which sends power to the solenoid…
When the solenoid is pulled down it hits a switch and adds the points…

Is it even necessary to have this in the script?

I know I owe you guys an update on this table but a combination of taking the family on vacation and catching up at work has set me back.  The next mod will hopefully be out next week and will have SSF support, an updated PF , fast flips, and the vari target update, oh and a DOF Update also!
