Hi
I’m trying to work with the table transformers and pup pack.
I made the step by step of every necessary installation.
I am using pinup 1.3.7 but upon entering the table my knocker is firing awake.
I’m afraid to burn it.
What could it be?
I added the pup pack and the rom tf_80 of “PuP-Muted Music Rom.zip” and the original rom kept in the roms folder as tf_80 (2).
I tested the table without pup-pack and the problem persisted.
This is only happening in this table.
The other pup-packs also work for me.
Please, would anyone have any idea what might be happening?
Make sure you have everything i listed up to date. VPX 10.5, pinmame sam3.2, b2s server, etc.
This isn’t a pup related issue….its a VPX related issue. Make sure the table isn’t crashing. Sort that problem before installing the pup-pack.

How do I get all of the screens positioned where they are supposed to be on the backglass and the correct size to fit in those spaces? Does this information come from the screens.pup file in the tf_180?You need to login in order to like this post: click here

You don’t. :)
You just need to set them up for their “defaults” like I explain in the setup video for Pinup System.
All those small screens are setup (in this PuP-Pack) to use the Backglass PuP screen as a reference starting point for size and positioning. Every pup-pack can re-purpose other PuP screens in any way you want that is different than the default.
Just follow what I say for setting up the screens in this video at around 8 mins.

September 26, 2018 at 1:28 am #99481When it’s approved on DOF Config Tool…you too can have this new Transformers light show. This was the quickest and easiest DOF MX Led update I’ve ever done. Explosions, laser blasts, electrical effects, and flasher effects positioned around the playfield.

i undid this and i have the backglass stuff showing but no music. i am using the muted rom

May 9, 2019 at 10:59 am #127700My current setup is only two screen. With most other pup packs I am able to put the DMD somewhere on the backglass. There are a couple packs where the backglass image will always be on top and hide the DMD and this is one of them. Is there a setting somewhere to keep the DMD on top?
Thanks

You need to set the Screen 3 (DMD Text) to OFF using the PuP-Pack editor, if you are using 2 screen cab setup. This should allow your DMD to show on top.
Keep in mind that PuP-Packs may or may not give you this option in the future as most cabinet setups revolve around having a dedicated DMD or 3rd LCD screen for their DMD.

May 9, 2019 at 3:46 pm #127727Thanks! This is just a minicab with no room for a third screen unless I build a new back box. Hopefully building a full size 3 screen soon.

January 19, 2020 at 12:36 pm #159405Thanks for this Terry! I was getting stuttering in the video for both Tron and Transformers and couldn’t understand why. Fixed both with this tip. Now onto OSTIf you have stuttering or artifacts with this PuP-Pack (and others like Tron Legacy work fine)… you most likely don’t have VSYNC properly setup in VPX. Set “FPS Limiter/VSYNC” to 1, and “Maximum Pre-Rendered Frames” to 1 in VPX Video Options.
