Good morning and Happy 4th to everyone. I bought a Spectre tv and is there a way to turn on with power strip? It does have CEC. And talked to the tech and said I need a graphic CEC board. Right now it will not turn on holding the button on. Has anybody used the CEC box. Amazon is about $45 thanks Ron

Usually the tv will just turn on after power outage at least most newer TVs. There is usually a setting to power on after power loss in television menu. If not we’ll I’m not familiar with cec box so I’m no help on that

Hmmm…that TV should turn on if it’s hooked up via HDMI. I have a Scpetre in my backglass that I have to manually turn on as it’s using VGA but pretty sure it doesn’t require an additional box if hooked up via HDMI. Good luck and happy 4th back at ya!

Thanks for replies. The setting to turn on is controlled by CEC. So that don’t work and also the HDMI is also. May have to bite the bullet again and buy a Vizio if the module don’t work.
