This is an update to francisco666’s excellent VPX port of Twister. Thanks go to him for his table, and the permission to mod it.
I’ve made many functional fixes, physics tweaks, and visual updates. I’ve used the NFozzy/Rothbauerw physics tutorial to set the physics, I think it plays much better now. There should be less stuck balls, and the all important twister multiball sequence is fixed.
I also ran the transparent ramp through some of Flupper’s ramp tutorial process to texture it. I’m no expert in blender but I think it’s an improvement. I also used some filters on the DOROTHY primitive so it looks more round.

how do I update scripts for this? I keep getting an error about flippers and then a message stating scripts may be out of date. Im moving from the vpt version to this one.

@terag : Use VPinballX.exe to start the table with.
And thank you @djrobx for fixing this table. I took some stabs at it some days ago after I became aware that you had made a working version. And I started to actually like the game so I’m very happy to hear that you’ve already done the physics part and even improved on stuff I probably never would have known was a issue. I already know that this one will be in regular rotation.

Make sure you are using VPX 10.6, and that you have replaced the scripts in the scripts folder (they come with VPX). Also make sure there are no old .vbs files in your tables folder.

Just wanted to give a huge thanks for this. I grabbed this the other day from the pinup group. Tried it out earlier this morning. And i must say What a Huge improvement over the original release. The twister targets work this time. And not to mention the physics update. And graphic touch ups. It actually is challenging this time around . What a knockout

This looks and plays amazing. Yet another new release that for some reason works on my limited set-up. I hadn’t played the older version much so just got to multi-ball for the first time. Surprised that didn’t overload things – – what a fun table!! Thanks so much for the work put into this….and to 32 and francisco for all the prior work they did to make this possible. The whole thing is gorgeous but those bumber caps. Dang I need a 4k.

Plays VERY well. no stuck balls and I commend whoever set up the fullscreen view, excellent feeling of 3D.
