Far and away best version of Twilight Zone ever. Plays great and looks incredible. Changing lights, changing tv images, smooth gumball animation. Thanks for this table. My only 2 negatives after a few games are ball rolling sound too loud (and I like a loud ball rolling sound). But I adjusted in script to my taste. And I’m not sold on the flipper settings yet, but maybe I am just too use to other versions of the table. Back to playing!!

May 4, 2016 at 12:46 am #19768Tweaking the physics was a p… in the a… ;) But I think this plays as real as possible. I like the real TZ also very much – not for nothing it’s on 1st place in pinball ranking most of the time… :)
The ball rolling sound should be loud. When you are playing a real pinball machine from that time you can always here the rolling sound loud and clear – in addition that you can also clearly feel it rolling. It’s about the same loudness on my STTNG and on my RS. But you can make it less loud when you are using the value 2000 instead of 500 (or something higher than 500) in the script in line 1526.

May 4, 2016 at 1:14 am #19771Holy shit, this table is a masterpiece! Truly breathtaking in every way. Wow… WOW! Thank you ninuzzu, coindropper and all involved!
P.S. For the ultimate experience try it with one of the excellent PinSound remixes. Never thought VPX would be this great

May 5, 2016 at 12:33 am #20168this table is for sure a show piece… design, modeling, code… all done to perfection
after playing a few dozen games I did have a ball get stuck right above the top left flipper… I couldn’t shake it loose

May 5, 2016 at 1:18 am #20170Thanks Haunt.
Do you like the mystic seer? It’s a nice addition, but we need to find the correct place for it if I decide to add the Ford Thunderbird mod, the car (I found a great model for it), but actually there are a lot of toys and the majority of them is set to “non static” to interact with the script, so this could cause lag. I stayed as low as possible, the original mystic seer , for example, was 40k faces, now it’s 3k-4k.
I also had that ballstuck; it happens , sometimes, when you miss the ramp and hit the rubber posts instead:
the ball litterally flies back and gets stuck in that area because all the plastics are not collidable. I think adding a simple invisible wall will prevent this.
Do you guys have random crashes? I have them and I don’t know why

May 5, 2016 at 1:46 am #20172oh yeah I seen the mystic seer, I love it… I think I posted the head and box separated over at the other place…. if you want even more lag put the head on a spring, and make it bobble when the table is nudged, like the ringmaster on voltre ….lol
no i’m not getting any crashes… i little slow down if things are going crazy… but thats my setup, i’m sure…. i been playing it in true FS and its playing flawlessly

May 5, 2016 at 2:55 am #20174Interesting. I never ever had a ball stuck. And I certainly played 100 hours in the testing phase since February. Nevertheless a ball stuck can happen on a real pinball machine, too. Believe it or not – once the ball stopped on the right inlane on my Roadshow!
The car only fits on the roof where the Mystic Seer is positioned at the moment. I think we have to find another place for the Mystic Seer – if he has foreseen this? ;)
